Feelfree Thailand Bangpakong Afternoon
The only way out that can help you escape from the chaos (of your mind) is to find a short time to go out and gain happiness, to let your mind be free, to let the surrounding atmosphere help you relax, to create your own private space that is not crowded and chaotic with people, and one place that has all the above-mentioned components is Bang Pakong, with the medium for this time of mind-relaxation being kayaking.
And then the thing that we had been waiting for and looking forward to finally arrived. It was time to focus on the surroundings that were good for the heart, with rowing a boat in the Bang Pakong River, turning the boat’s head towards the mouth of the bay, rowing along, letting our mind relax, talking to people who were floating their boats to catch fish for a living, keeping our eyes peeled for climbing fish that jumped into the water and swam away quickly when we got close. When we saw them, we had to mutter to ourselves, “We didn’t come to disturb nature. We just came to share a little bit of happiness to heal our hearts, that’s all.”
When rowing to the middle of the way, we came across a fairly wide expanse of water. There were large ships anchored and resting at various points. When approaching those large ships, we should make a mental comparison: “The world is so vast, and who are we?”
Although this time of meeting and socializing with nature is not flashy or exciting, at least it can heal the mind, refresh the brain, and reset the freshness of the mind in an unexpectedly large way. It may be because we have been separated from nature and the environment for a long time.
It can’t help but make us realize that nature is a place that is essential for humans to live in, day and night. No matter how long we are away, there must be a moment when we can think of its beauty and comfort when we visit it, because it’s okay if we don’t have nature around us, but if we don’t have nature around us, no one can survive for sure.
